Thank you to everyone who joined us for SPUC’s 6th Annual Conference! As with so many things in 2020, we were forced to pivot and change to a virtual format for our conference this year. The virtual conference spanned two days with access to all the lectures made available to attendees even after the live conference dates.
Thanks to the hard work of many, including our presenters and the Program Committee, we were able to offer a conference with a variety of topics as they related to Urgent Care ranging from the State of the Union of Pediatric Urgent Care to Telemedicine and Anaphylaxis. We learned about current COVID-19 guidelines and responding to physical abuse along with a morning session dedicated to adolescent medicine which included topics such as vaping. A number of abstracts on a wide range of topics were submitted and the top 10 were presented over the two days. The recorded presentations and slides remain accessible to registrants through the Mobile Meeting Guide.
We had a record number of new participants with 95 of the attendees attending SPUC for the first time. Though we missed seeing everyone in person, we are excited by the robust participation from around the country. We will continue to ride the wave of a well-received virtual conference on September 15-17, 2021 for SPUC’s 7th Annual Conference, continuing in a safe and educational virtual format. Save the Date!
